Say Hello To John
One decision can change the whole trajectory of your life. The law of “Cause & Effect” plays a significant role in every decision we make. The following is an illustration of what I’m talking about.
John had walked into a local office supply store to pick up a few items that he needed for work. John had a new Harley Davidson motorcycle that he had recently purchased. he parked toward the back of the parking lot which gave him about a 50-yard walk to the front of the store. He always parked his vehicles where there weren’t any other people parking in that area which was always in the back 40 of a parking lot to keep his vehicle away from door dings.
Since his bike was only a week old he figured it would be safer parked in the back 40 where there weren’t any other vehicles. However, when John walked out of the office supply store he noticed three vehicles were parked in the same vicinity that his bike was parked. they weren’t t there when he went inside the store. John figured they were parking back there for the same reasons.
John was about 50 feet from his bike when he heard a thunderous roar coming from the back of the parking lot where the other vehicles were parked. One of the vehicles back there was a Ford F-150 that had pulled straight into the parking space.
The Ford truck had a lift kit on it with some massive oversized tires which gave it a menacing look. Not to mention an exhaust system that you could hear from a mile away. John’s bike was parked about three spaces to the right of the Ford truck on the opposite side of where the Ford had pulled into park. The next thing Johns sees is the Ford starts backing up. The parking spaces were fairly close, but the Ford truck had plenty of room to maneuver out of the parking space.
As John watches the Ford backing up he can see the rear of the tailgate of the truck is lined up with his motorcycle, but it was still several feet from the bike. John’s fleeting thought of this is going to be a great day turned into his worst nightmare. The Ford truck kept backing up when it should have stopped and turned out of the parking spot. Instead, it kept moving back in reverse and the next thing Johns hears is the crashing and crunching sound of twisted metal as the back wheels of the Ford Pickup truck ran over his brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle.
John is outraged and immediately takes off in a full spirit toward the accident. John is thinking he’s going to dismember this idiot one limb at a time. When John gets up to the cab of the truck the guy that backed over his bike had gotten out and was walking toward the back of the truck. John was furious when he got to the truck as he spit out every cuss word known to man. When John confronted the man that just totaled his new Harly out, he didn’t give the guy a chance to apologize or say a word.
John hit the guy with a vicious right haymaker that caught the guy square in the right temple of his head. The guy dropped to the asphalt like a rag doll. John started whaling on the guy as he lay motionless on the asphalt. It took John about 15 seconds of kicking and punching to figure out the guy was out like a light. The guy was more than out like a light. He was dead. John literally beat the guy to death. John was sentenced to the electric chair and some 10 years after a lengthy court battle his execution was carried out and John was dead.
